BITTERSWEET...

I have a few catch up posts to do, but wanted to do this one first. I have had a couple of things change in the last few days that are pretty bittersweet. I got released from my calling as activity day leader in our ward on Sunday. So hard, but also so needed. I absolutly LOVED that calling. I love the girls in our ward, I love doing the activities with them and getting to know them. But, with my other calling in the primary I was getting so overwhelmed. I knew that I had to ask to be released because those girls deserve someone who can give 100% and I have not been able to do that lately. I am so happy because they put someone wonderful in that I know will do a fantastic job! The next thing is that gymnastics is over for the summer. We had our programs on Monday, which all the kids did great at. I have been so lucky to have the opportunity to help Jennifer teach all those girls (and the few boys)! I got to take Tayia with me each week for some "girl" time also. I mean, come on-- What job will let you take your kid, give her free classes, and pay you????? I am sad to see it end for the summer but will also be happy to have the extra night a week to spend with my family. More posts to come later......
