In a serious effort to catch up on posting, Here is a short recap of what happened in May. In addition to this, we took a trip to California, but i'm hoping to do a seperate post on that.
T had a musical program at school. He did his memorized part fabulously and I could hear him singing over everyone else. His favorite song of the whole program was called "Blue Mountain" This boy brings a smile to my face every. single. day.
We tore down our disgusting old shed and started building a new one. Way more work than anticipated, as well as money, but- it's done now, and fabulous to have. Maybe I will get around to taking and posting a picture of the new one........ but chances are slim.
My beautiful Tayia Jay turned 8. I hope to do a birthday post for her later. She had a cowgirl party. (surprise, surprise) and had a fabulous time with lots of family and friends to share her day. Isn't she beautiful?
We went camping over memorial day with friends and family. Levi was awesome enough to rig this hammock for the kiddos. It was very windy, but we survived and still had a great time. On the last day we were there, Tay got sick and spent almost a full day in the camper sleeping. So sad because it was her actual birthday. Not a great way to spend it. The day after we came home, I took her into the doc because of her fever and she had strep.
Steve and I got to grab subway and drive over the mountain for a fabulous date night. These are the best dates for me. I cherish every second. I am so blessed to have a mom and sister willing to watch my kiddos so Steve and I can get away once in awhile.
Mr. T had his last year of TBALL! He will be moving up to machine pitch next year! He did great, was able to pay attention, hit-catch-and throw the ball fabulously, and LOVED sliding into home plate. Tay passed the games by playing with friends and practicing her walking handstands. I wish I could get a picture of her arm muscles when she does this-- It's amazing. Great games Trace- Mom loves watching you play.
