We had a super busy, cram-packed but FUN December!
We did our yearly tradition of finding the "perfect tree", yearly ornaments, decorating, and hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls.
This year was a little bittersweet for me where this tradition is concerned. I had a pretty good idea that this would be the last Christmas we would spend in this house.........
We took the kids up to Salt Lake for a weekend full of fun! We went ice skating at the gallivan center which the kids LOVED! Trace especially. He was spinning, doing tricks, and enjoying every second despite the cold weather! Tayia had fun also, but she preferred to be a little more cautious in her skating.
Papa Jay did alot of this:
And Trace spent alot of time like this;
Steve spent alot of time doing this; you can tell it's not his cup of tea!
Then we went and saw the candy window at city creek center. These were pretty darn cool!
Our good friends The Stringhams came down to visit with us for awhile!
This is what Dad and Kade thought about the windows. These two and Steve were troopers all day!
Finally we hit Temple Square. My kids had never been at Christmas time, so I was SO excited to take them!
After the temple, we headed back to city creek to watch the fountains. My kids loved these lights that were there too.
Christmas morning.
We got to see our cousin Kya over Christmas break! We loved having her around for a couple of days!
