Man, what could be better than the summer sun, water, Popsicles, sand, and friends? Not much. Oh wait! Add green grass! We got sod in our backyard a couple of weeks ago to replace the weed/goat head patch we had going on. It was alot of money, and alot of work but sooooooo worth it! Anyway, Last week, our good friends Talon, Anna, and Treyden Stringham came for a visit. Actually, they were coming down anyway for the 4th of July, but since we were going out of town for the 4th, they came a couple days early so we could spend some time together. (Thanks guys, we are thankful for your friendship!) While Steve and Talon spent the entire day fishing, Me, Anna, and the kiddies spent the day playing! We pulled out the pool, and the sand toys and the kids were busy all day. Trace, Tayia, and Trey played so well. Anna and I were so proud of them. They had a picnic lunch outside on the table, enjoyed Popsicles and watermelon, and played in the sand and pool. Anna and I got to sit and visit (while soakin' up the sun of course) which we always love to do. When the kids got tired of playing, we came in and watched a movie and started the BBQ dinner. We all had a great day. What a blessing good friends are in our lives. We are so thankful for the many wonderful friends that we have.
