I'm trying to get a few catch up posts done- The kids loved carving pumpkins this year. Neither one was afraid of the insides like they were last year. They spent most of the morning carving and painting away. We planted pumpkins in our garden this year so they have been watching them grow and then waiting and waiting for Halloween so they could pick the pumpkins and carve them. We still have a couple on our front porch that we didn't carve and Trace still asks me- "Mom, what about these punkins? we need to carve em-" Okay, well, we didn't make our sugar cookies on Halloween either so maybe one day this week we can carve the rest of the pumpkins and make sugar cookies using our cute Halloween sprinkles- Who says we have to celebrate Halloween on one day only?
