Here are some pictures of decorating the tree. I have never been one to have a wonderfully decorated tree. I love my tree to be decorated with ornaments that have been made or given over the years. Kind of Hodge Podgy- (is that really a word?) We give the kids an ornament that reminds us of them every year. This year Tayia got a My Little Pony. Trace got a Tonka Dumptruck. We made cinnamon ornaments last year and the kids got a kick out of "tasting" them this year because they smelled so good. Good thing glue is non-toxic. Trace LOVED helping Steve put the tree in the stand. He made sure to go get his tools to make sure the tree was straight. He also fell in love with the baseball ornament that Steve and I got a couple of years ago when we went to a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball game. Sorry about the snotty noses, no underwear, and hat head- The kids were just too excited to clean up after we got home from getting the tree. They just wanted to decorate, so decorate we did.

that looks like you guys had fun. i would love to do a real tree someday. i'm afraid i will be like steve and have to be super picky. i have to have the perfect tree, i don't know why. will you guys be around for christmas? we are coming down.
I still haven't put my tree up.... and the time is going by too fast. Your tree is cute! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
