A couple of weekends ago we were up in Salt Lake and wanted to do something fun and christmasy with the kids. We decided to go to THIS IS THE PLACE HERITAGE PARK. It was so dang much fun. They had lots of little houses that you walked through that had different things to do in them. We made tree ornaments, wrote letters to Santa, had hot apple cider, we helped put together some toy trains in Santa's workshop. There was a place that had lots of old time toys that the kids could play with. There was a "dance hall" where you were taught old time dances. Tyler and Patti were the only ones brave enough to join in on the fun. I was so dang proud of them. It looked like they had so much fun! They had a train that took you around the outside of the village to look at some awesome Christmas light displays, Santa Claus and some real reindeer, and my favorite- a live nativity out in a stable. It was amazing. Thanks Mom, Dad, Kaden, Tyler, Patti, Kya, Talon, Anna, and Trey for such a fun night. (Sarah, we missed you!) We had a great time!
