THE PERFECT TREE!

This past weekend we went to get our Christmas Tree. Steve had been out at scout camp and had scoped out a couple good ones, so this year it didn't take twenty hours to pick one out. (Steve is a picky tree picker.) So we drove out and found a great tree. It's beautiful. Both of the kids loved it- Don't mind the toy gun in the picture with Tayia, we were also "elk hunting" The kids had to pack around the gun just in case we happened to run across one. I'm not sure if you can see the little cactus in the picture with all three of them- but just a couple of minutes after I took that picture, Trace tripped and fell into the cactus. He had it all over his hands and a couple even went through his pants and into his leg. Poor little thing. He was trying to be so brave but just could not hold back the tears. We had to sit there and pull all of them out. After the trauma was over, we headed home to eat dinner and decorate. That will be the next post-
