CAMPING

We went camping this weekend over on the elk mountain. It is so beautiful up there! The kids had a great time as usual. I am always amazed how good they are when we are camping. There must be something about the fresh mountain air that is soothing to the soul. They had a great time playing in the dirt, playing with and loving on the dogs, roasting hot dogs, and finding neat rocks and sticks. I posted a picture of them roasting their hot dogs. They won't let us help them anymore but it's hilarious because they were sitting so far away from the campfire. They wouldn't get any closer because it was too hot. They finally got tired of waiting for them to be "done" and decided to let us help them. What characters. After dinner we went on a little hike to see if we could see any wildlife. We didn't see much, but man, we saw a gorgeous sunset. The kids had it easy as you can see from the pics. We all took turns giving them piggy backs. Kade even carried Trace most of the way down. We love being in the mountains. We love camping. We love spending time together as a family. Thanks Nana and Kade for coming with us!
