Back in August, my mom and dad rented a boat for our family. This was kind of our family reunion for the year since we never got around to having one. We had so much dang fun! The day started out cold and windy, so we were kind of nervous. We actually got rained on a little bit, but it wasn't cold, and the water was perfect. There were not many people there, so we pretty much had the lake to ourselves! Dad manned the driving and did a good job. He only needed to go faster! Everyone loved the tube. That was for sure the highlight. Steve was the only one able to get up and water ski- I tried doing that and wake boarding and couldn't get up on either one-- I was super bummed because I thought for sure I would be able to do it. When I was younger, I did great at water skiing!!!! Tayia and Trace loved every second. Well, Trace was a little hesitant to get on the tube, but Tay jumped right on. This amazed me- I thought there would be no way. I didn't even think she would get on the boat!! We had such a great day spending time with the fam. I thought a lot about my younger days when my Uncle Bob and his family came up for a day full of fun, sun, and water. I loved those times!!! We had a blast and hope that we get to do it again soon.

Looks like you guys had a blast. What a fun thing to do for a reunion. Oh and your last post about car seats was great. I am also super overprotective and one of my pet peeves is actually seeing little kids on parents laps or not buckled. So never doubt the great investment you made.

The picture of Tayia Waving is so cute. It looks like she was having tons of fun. and Trace...every picture I see he seems to look like a little tiny Steve. Too Cute.
