MORE OUTDOORS STUFF!

We went out camping, riding horses, and branding again this past weekend. We all had a blast! This time was extra fun because we got to take out a horse for the kids to ride. Lady Carla is a great horse for putting kids on and turning them loose. Tayia was especially excited and wanted in on all the action. She was in the corral right next to Steve trying to rope the cows. She thought she was tuff stuff. She loved to round the cows up and get them in the corral and had a great time shouting "hey cows, get in there cows" She rode a total of about three miles which is quite alot for a three year old. WOW! I can't believe she is really big enough to ride by herself. Whenever we had Carla tied up to the trailer, it would not take long for us to find Tayia over there pushing Carla up against the horse trailer so she could get on the wheel well and climb on by herself. Trace on the other hand was just tired and wiped out. He did get to ride a little bit with Nana, which he loved. But he was so worn out from running around the day before camping, no naps, and so much going on. He fell asleep out there in my lap (which he never EVER does) and then just sat in the truck and layed on the seats. PLUS he slept on the way home. Tired boy. He did have fun riding his own horse (aka: nana's leg) My mom even got in on some of the action and was able to ride and help do some ear tags. Me? well, I got to ride a little which felt really great, but the highlight for me was getting to hold my sleeping baby boy. That is something that seriously does not happen so I was content to sit there and love every second. We had alot of fun and the weather was beautiful. Thanks to Karma for bringing Carla over for the kids to ride. We all had a great time.
